Great place to camp! It’s our home away from home!

Unfortunately, even though we had reservations for 3 nights from April 1-4, the campground was locked and we couldn't camp here. I assume there was poor communication be Recreation.gov that said the campsite was available and either the USFS or the camp management company.
That being said, the roads within the campground looked newly resurfaced and it was in a great location. We are willing to try again at another time yet right now we are still waiting for a refund from an unfulfilled camp opportunity.

The site itself was pleasant. Cool rocks, nice fire pit, easy flat areas for three tents. Friendly camp hosts came by to offer ice and wood for sale. Our neighbors were awful. They kept bright lights on until late, shining right into our tents. They were drunk, loud, and cursed constantly both nights. Apparently no quiet hours and no monitoring by camp hosts. Really detracted from our time in the woods.

This site is very nice and semi private. However, our trailer is 29 ft. and the front of it was 40 inches off the ground when leveled. The camp hosts stated that they had never seen anyone try to put a trailer on that site. The description states that it will fit up to a 55ft. trailer, which it technically will length wise. Just be prepared for it to be a rather steep slope. Thankfully we had plenty of daylight left to take the time to make the most of the position of our trailer and to safely set it up.
There is a nice walking path to the bath house and recreation area which is on the opposite side of the main road. Currently there is no hot water at the bath house, but it was very clean.
