For more information on reservations, please visit http://fotlanf.org/ Twin Lakes Campground is located near a small, spring-fed, trout-stocked lake, popular with families. Visitors enjoy fishing, swimming and exploring local trails, including the Twin Lakes Trail.  The campground was once the site of a chemical factory, and the lake was built as a "splash dam" to raise water levels in a plant downstream.

  • Railroad underpass on entrance road restricts vehicle height to less than 10 feet

  • Group sites are available for both day use and overnight camping
  • Pets must be on a leash
  • Pets are not to be left unattended at campsite
  • Dogs are not allowed on beaches
  • Please clean-up after your pets

  • Don't move firewood: To limit the spread of invasive tree-killing pests, firewood from outside the area is not permitted. Some states have quarantines and may confiscate your firewood. Please help protect our forests from invasive species by obtaining your firewood at or near your camping destination and burning it on-site. Visit dontmovefirewood.org for more information.
  • The Friends of Twin Lakes and Allegheny National Forest are working together to restore water and sewage to the campground. There is not currently water available. There is a dump station available.
