Camp Wilhelm

Love this campground! No drama allowed, quiet, family oriented, weekend activities if you're so inclined. Mary and Eric are very conscientious owners!

A family-oriented campground that cares about your stay. The owners are great and listen to their guests. The facilities are very clean and the Snack Shack is always busy. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and have specials each week. If you miss out on the food, you can run to the camp store for essentials. Saturdays there’s usually Amish bake goods for sale but you have to get there early!
Pool is heated and there are varying activities throughout the season.

We tent camped for 1 night in September on a weekend getaway to Lake Wilhelm. This is an established seasonal RV camp but they also have cabins & RV and Tent spots for those coming for a short stay. We chose this campground for its location to the lake (a few minutes drive to a launch) & we were very pleased with our site, the amenities & the privacy. We had a fire ring, picnic table and spacious flat spot for our tent near a bathroom/shower house. We will definitely come back for a stay the next time we visit the lake.

My family and I had such a wonderful time. The atmosphere was amazing, the locals and non-locals were all very friendly and kind. We had both cabins 1 & 3...each had it's own awesomeness about it... Ms. Mary was wonderfully inviting over the phone, and even more in person..(she's a hugger, and so am I)🥰 her staff were just as great as she.. We will most definitely be back...sooner than later❣️

We are seasonal campers and I must say, this campground is amazing! Mary and Eric are amazing people and have a great compliment of staff and helpers around the campground. There are plenty of activities during the season and the snack bar serves up some amazing food. Store is always stocked and the arcade area is great for the kids. Pool is heated and very clean. Very kid and pet friendly and easy to get around. Not a far drive if you live in the Pittsburgh area. The location is in great proximity to I-79 and I-80. The campgrounds is also located close to Goddard State Park. If you're willing to take a short drive, there are also many local attractions in the area. This campground can make for a great, quick weekend getaway or more long term trip to the area.

Prices here are also very reasonably. Comparative to other campgrounds and amenities, you get a lot of bang for your buck here.

My family and I love camping here, and we look forward to each visit. I highly recommend if you're looking for a nice getaway, at a very affordable cost.
