Sweet small park but very picturesque, multiple habitats. I saw a beautiful green heron and hiked the Falls Water Trail. Nice stop close to travelers of I80 and I79.

Nice park. Did the hike out to McKeever Center. Following yellow blazes until they stopped. Took trail along the forest border on the way back to make a portion of it a loop. Lots of deer.

Walked on the Falling Run Nature Trail and had a great time! It was well taken care of and the path is well marked. The views are beautiful, even during the transition from winter to spring. There is limited parking right by the start of the trail. Across the main road is the start of another trail with more parking availability. I-79 traffic can be heard on certain parts of the trail but it still makes for a good hike, even for beginners!

Did the falls trail, and it was a pretty little loop!
End of new vernon rd by the kayak launch, the trail head is marked by a wooden sign.
easy hike for any level of hiker. limited parking . probably should park at the main boat launch in summer months

What a great trail. I visited just after Labor Day. It was quiet and serene and gave personal quiet time. An easy trail with small hills and valleys. Nature abounds here. Loved the deer walking across the trail before me. What I original thought was a hide for hunting, which puzzled me, being from the city it took awhile to realize it was a bat house, which makes sense. I definitely would visit again if I lived closer.
