Tent camping by the river. Nice view of water. Firewood, ice and ice cream available by the honor system. Alot of seasonal campers, but there are a few spots for weekenders. Full hookups on some. A bike trail runs through the campground. Friendly camp host and nice hot water in the shower house, which is a nice sized trailer with showers, sinks and toilets. Also a boat dock with slips. I plan on returning again.🙂

Great campground right on the Armstrong Bike Trail. The owner, staff and camp host were all great. Spacious sites and great wifi signal that we streamed movies with at night with no interruption. The review that someone left and mentions this place should be a parking lot couldn't be more incorrect or inappropriate. This place is a gem in a beautiful spot.

This place is beautiful yet simple. Tucked away in the middle of no where it seems so it's super quiet but right next to the river with a boat launch and docks. Fun and relaxing. Kids all get along with each other and it's just a nice community. What's really nice in my opinion is it's not huge so you don't spend forever going 5mph to get to your campsite. Would highly recommend for the weekend getaway or a long term summer site for a small family to bring a camper for the summer and keep a boat there for some fun on the river.

This campground is a gem on the Allegheny just above Lock 8. Full hookups, ample boat and jet ski slips and plenty of space to stretch out. Most sites are permanent and have been occupied for years largely due to the fantastic ownership - very friendly & easy to work with! Additional sites are being planned for the future. Looking for a new place to land or a weekend away, stop by for a visit and check it out.

Pleasant campground conveniently located right on the Armstrong Trail. Cyclists can camp in a regular site, or down on the river banks (although the washrooms are a bit of a hike then). Washrooms are cute and were clean. Note, they do not have a regular office; call ahead to make a reservation. Josh, the owner, did return my call and was very helpful on the phone.
