What Guests Are Saying
Crooked Creek Lake offers a pleasant camping experience with clean facilities, helpful staff, and nearby wildlife, making it a great spot for outdoor enthusiasts. However, some campers noted issues with noise from other guests, lack of privacy between sites, and a need for more electric hookups. Overall, visitors appreciate the campground's location and are likely to return despite minor inconveniences.

I always enjoy my time there. I found a great spot this year. It's great that water and a dumpstation are included. I would pay extra if they made a few spots electric. It's not easy to get solar and if you require a sleepap you need electric. The ranger and maintenance guy helped me look for my cat that had escaped from the RV and went down the culvert. The only issues I had were the urinals in the restroom are set up for people over 7' tall. And there were some teens staying up at that end driving in and out all night at a fairly high rate of speed and blaring their music. Some people leave their fires smoldering and leave messes. I go around and put any fires out. There are dumpsters so there's no excuse of leaving garbage laying around when they leave.

The campsites are very close together, with little to no privacy between them. During my weekend stay, the campground was completely full, which made it feel quite crowded. Some campers stayed up chatting and playing music (not extremely loud, but noticeable and a bit disruptive in a natural setting) even past the designated quiet hours. On the positive side, the bathrooms were clean and well-maintained, and the campground hosts were friendly and accommodating.

Been going to Crooked Creek for awhile now and never camped there till recently. It was a wonderful experience with lots of wildlife right outside our tent. Swimming and fishing wasn't far away either, no more than a 5 minute dtive! The rangers that were working while we were there was helpful and very nice. Definitely gonna be booking again soon!!

Great spot. It may be a bit of a walk to the restrooms for some. But it gives a decent space from the other spots for a decent seclusion.

Campsite was great, took a bit to level. The picnic table was concrete and needed a good scrub. We had rain so weren’t able to do much, and the dump station was out of order. To be fair I think we did get notified about the dump station. I would stay there again if in the area.
