Wow this place is cant believe how nasty and rude the guy who owns the place is... I get it that working in any type of customer service job is stressful and you can get some real messed up customers. I know I run restaurants for a living and believe me I have see all types of customers. The best and the worst of the worst. But we can not judge anyone on what past customers have done or been like that's bad customer service. From the min we got there because our camper was band new yes a little older and needed a little work. But he was so busy complaining about past customers and his experience with them talking to us like it was us that did whatever to him. The 2 lady's helping sign us in apologized for his behavior and we're so taken back by how he was talking I guess forgot to tell us the check out time. Week stayed for 1 week. On the last day he was watching out site and kept driving by it even stopped to say check out time is noon if your not out of here I will call the cops. Wait what first off that was at 1130 he said that second off we were packing up our site. 3rd off we didn't know the checkout time because his staff didn't tell us. But we were packing up our site to leave why would you even stop to say that when you saw us packing up. We didn't get out of there until 2pm because he chose to say that to me. I told him call the cops you want my phone. Then told him believe me you made this experience horrible if I could give 0 stars I would. Never again will I waste money there. He needs a class on customer service. With the way he treats customer I can see why he always has sites available when other campground are bigger and booked solid. I don't usually write bad reviews. But the way he treated us horrible because we didn't look upper class. We do pretty good (restaurant general manager and construction) we just don't feel the need to keep up with the Jones. You should treat all customers with respect at least until they break any of your rules which we did not.

They put us in a spot with no shade. It looked like it was mostly used for campers because there was gravel everywhere it was difficult to get our steaks in without bending them. They have one actual bathroom with showers by the main office. The pool hours are short and it opens late morning and closes late afternoon. I don't recommend tent camping unless you are doing primitive camping, they have some great woodsy areas for that. All the w/e lots are more for campers.

We came for the Halloween festivities. Which was a lot of fun, and you can tell they put some work into the decorations and planning. Some sites had political flags which I think shouldn't be in a camp site. But what made us feel very uncomfortable were the Confederate flags that were throughout the grounds. We almost wanted to leave right away. But we stayed. This is a family oriented campground, and the people we talked to were very friendly. I don't think we'll be back.

A medium size older park set in the forest. Sites are 30/50 amp electric plus water. No sewer hook ups but there is a dump point and honey bucket service. Lots of seasonal sites with many trailers looking like they have not been moved in years. Bathhouse is up to date, clean and functional. There is a laundry and game room. The store has lots of shirts and ice, snacks, and essentials. There is a pool with a slide plus a toddler wading pool and kids playground. There are also some “primitive” sites for tents with no hook ups.
