We always seem to make the best of it. Little bit of rain. The host was awesome we helped celebrate her birthday. We would have had a better time if the grass was mowed. It was really high. Also no paper towels in the bathrooms. Darlene makes it worth coming back. But it really needs to taken care of better. It could be a great camping area if it had some TLC

Host was very friendly and helpful. Would gladly return. Unfortunately the weather was not good during our stay but the facility makes me want to come back.

Lovely small campground set right on Loyalhanna Lake. I stayed in campsite #23 for one (very stormy and rainy) night with a 20' camper van which was easy to back into the site. There is a large tree on one side of parking pad that may pose an issue for larger RV's especially ones with awnings and bump-outs. The campsite was otherwise fairly large and private given that no one was in Site 22 which is pretty close (#22's fire ring ended up less than 20' from my back window). Larger RV's may need levelers, but found a level-enough area for my van. Had heard wonderful things about camp host Darlene, but didn't get to meet her. Took a short walk around campground during break in weather. Looks like there would usually be a beach area, but it was flooded when I was there in late August. Bathrooms were clean and the shower was one of the nicest I have ever seen in a campground! The surrounding area of Laurel Highlands is very picturesque.

Darlene was very welcoming and helpful getting us situated and pointed out amenities at the campground. Site 22 is fairly unlevel, so be sure to have plenty of blocking. This site is also ONLY a 50 amp connection; if your RV is 30 amp, you will need an adapter. If you do have an electric only site, it’s recommended to bring your own water as a potable water fill is not readily accessible.

Small cozy campground. Great waterway to explore with kayak. Campground host Barbera was sweet and helpful at all times.

Not enough pictures of campsites on website was hard to choose. On line registration did not represent correct availability. So much stone/gravel laid down in campsite it was almost impossible to drive a tent peg into the ground. Grassy sites by the lake would have been a better choice than 026. Single digit campsites better choice. Bathroom and shower were clean. Quiet and respectful campers. I was on a Bikepacking trip stayed one night.
