Bush COE campground gives access to a lake for fishing and boating. We came at a time when there were few other campers but the campground host met us as we pulled in and welcomed us with some information about the campground. We spent a day exploring the nearby dams and then went into Latrobe to tour the Fred Rogers Institute and the Lincoln Highway Experience.

The Campground Host —Darlene is very pleasant and welcoming! She makes you feel like coming back to Bush Recreation Area. She makes me feel like I have a conduit to the Ranger Staff and knows how to work well with everybody! Makes a difference as I know I have help as soon as I pull in.
The fishing is great and park is beautifully maintained. It’s my Happy Place!
