What Guests Are Saying
Bush Recreation Area is praised for its beautiful campsites, clean facilities, and particularly the outstanding campground host, Darlene, who is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful to guests. Many visitors enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, opportunities for fishing, boating, and wildlife sightings, such as bald eagles. While some minor issues were noted, like long grass and maintenance concerns, the overall experience is positive, with many campers eager to return.

Ranger Cindy and camp host Darlene were great to work with. We were on site 16, it had upgraded electric and had been releveled and new stone chips added.

Majority of rv lots need new gravel and smoothed out and leveled, there is a large stack of timbers that have been sitting in maintenance area for 2 years at least, use them to line and define rv spot and level the gravel to keep it in , also the dump station port should be sloped down and leveled so over flow waste is draining into dump tank . As well there should be a long water hose for black tank cleaning as all rv and travel trailers have black tank flush systems that require a water hose . The camp host Darlene is very helpful and friendly

Campground was nice enough and the campground host was extremely helpful when I was not able to reserve my site online. Nice hiking trails and good access to the water for fishing.

Always a great time camping by the lake! Camp host Darlene is always wonderful and so helpful. We wish the camping season lasted longer though. We would’ve loved to come more in the fall to enjoy a fire.
