We love coming to Loyalhanna for camping. Quiet and well cared for. Darlene, the camp host is a gem. She is always so helpful and takes her job very seriously. We look forward to seeing her every year.

Stayed 2 weeks and enjoyed ourselves. Darlene was a wonderful host. She went way beyond what her job was. You better hang on to her. She makes those Rangers look good!

We had a wonderful 2 weeks. Campground host Darlene was very friendly and helpful. Darlene went out of her way to help everyone to their sites and always checking on us to see if we needed anything. We will be back in the future. We were on site 14 and cell phone signal was ok.
We had a tornado warning and Darlene made sure we went to the bathhouse to be safe.

We had a wonderful 2 weeks. Campground host Darlene was very friendly and helpful. Darlene went out of her way to help everyone to their sites and always checking on us to see if we needed anything. We will be back in the future. We were on site 14 and cell phone signal was ok.

Host, was very accommodating and helpful when I lost my keys to my camper. Campground became a bit noisy and crowded next to me. But overall was not intolerable.

Site 16 was clean and level and had total sun, which made it HOT! Camp host was friendly and helpful. Bathroom was clean, only one shower stall but it has been recently updated and was very clean. Signage to campground from the south appears to have been updated, turn left when you see the water area (there’s a sign for Bush Recreation Area), campground is located just behind and above the boat dock area.

From Pittsburgh, take I-376 E (12.1 miles) keep left and continue onto US-22 E. Make a left at PA-981 N located in New Alexandria, PA near the Sheets gas station. Make a left onto Bush Road, passing Mannitto Golf Course, make another left into the Bush Recreation Area.
