The lake was really nice and being further out was nice. The site we were at was on a bank with a slope so everything wasn’t level

Very nice park and sites, well kept and campers very respectful of the rules, quiet time is well practiced and no loud radios. Lots of Host presence and well positioned for easy to find. Traffic and roads well maintained but did not travel up to primitive area on east side. I heard it’s pretty rough on vehicles. Grass at all loops was nicely mowed and made for ease of walking. We heard a few tales that snakes were seen, but I did not see any. Dumpster seemed well managed and no over flow or bear .
messes. The disc golf course is a great layout , well marked and handy for easy playing.
Highly recommended

This is our 3rd year on the Hawt loop. We love Ives Run, but were disappointed this year with the upkeep of the grass. It was in dire need of mowing. We were there a week and only saw a lawnmower once flying around 3 vacant sites. We even moved our canopies and bikes thinking they would be mowing the large area between our sites and the restrooms. Unfortunately, they did not. I’m hoping this was just a bad year for the management personnel.

Ives Run is meticulously maintained. The sites are not tight and there seems to be plenty of shade sites. The bathhouse was cleaned multiple times per day and offered plenty of hot water for a nice private shower after a day on the lake.

I have been camping here for at least 25 years and this year was disappointed that the grass areas weren’t mowed at all for the week we were there and it appears it hadn’t been mowed in a week or so before our arrival. In addition the camp store was not open and the coin operated laundry facilities were not available. The bathrooms were very clean however.
