Right on the lake. Absolutely beautiful. We stayed in the primitive area which is very remote.
A couple things to note;:
¹The primitive (pine) camping is a mile from the main campground. Which means a mile from the showers.
²There are no flush toilets in the primitive camping. There is an absolutey atrociously disgusting hole toilet infested with flies and maggots. There were 2 porta potties which were pristine when we arrived on Wednesday, but not so much by the end of the weekend.
³There seems to be no one in charge of the campground, and no way to get a hold of anyone.

Site 156 is in the Rustic loop of the campground and it would be hard to find a better site anywhere, especially if you like shade and lake access! The first two days were spent in a pouring rain but the tree cover helped keep the heaviest rain from turn the site into one big mud puddle.
T-Mobile service was excellent. Four bars inside the tent and 325Mbps download speeds!
Once the rain finally stopped it was only 15 steps or so to the lake and a nice easy drag to get my kayak in the water. I cannot wait to go back again next year.
It's crazy to see negative reviews about no water or electricity when Ives Run makes it clear these sites are RUSTIC.

Nice and quiet. Plenty of room for 27 footer. Clean area. Went here for our first trip and had a wonderful time.

My husband and I very much enjoyed our visit at Ives Run, we stayed in Hickory Loop for 4 days, 3 nights, then moved over to Pine Loop for 2 nights. My husband especially enjoyed the stay there in Pine Loop where he could go fishing.

The campsites are still nice and we’re able to play in the creek. But the swimming area it was closed all about two days we were there for the entire week. Something needs to be done about the geese and the bacteria level they leave so we can actually swim. The store has been closed for two years. I get that nobody wants to take that over. With the laundry, right there is next to the restrooms and that’s locked. I feel like the camp staff can easily take care of laundry and make it accessible to the campers. It’s kind of a nice feature that seems the campground doesn’t care about. Also, the camp host we’re not that friendly they had negative things to say when they talk to you and every once in a while, they would just say hi to try and be nice.
