Ives Run is a well-maintained campground with spacious, clean sites and a friendly atmosphere, making it an excellent choice for families and outdoor enthusiasts. Many visitors appreciated the easy access to the lake, well-kept facilities, and various recreational activities like fishing and biking. However, some guests expressed concerns about inconsistent grass maintenance and camp host interactions, suggesting room for improvement in these areas. Overall, Ives Run remains a popular destination for repeat campers.

We came in on a Sunday and stayed until the following Sunday, and the grass was not cut all week.
You have camp hosts that stay for free to work maybe one week a month, why are they not able to open the camp store at least to sell ice and maybe wood. We now have to leave camp every day to get ice for our coolers.
We were packing up on Sunday and one host gave us a hard time because we were parked along the road loading up tenting items. Not like we parked there all week!!
We have been coming here for years and every year it keeps getting worse. In my opinion, we need to find a new campground to have our family reunion, therefore all of the family camping somewhere else.
Very bad experience and not real happy with Ive's Run any more!!

This is my fourth time at this great CoE camp. Sites are level and well maintained by volunteer hosts who return year after year. Bathrooms are maintained by concession and do not do a thorough job.
I stay for two weeks each year to hike, but unfortunately the trails are not maintained. I use hand clippers on the blackberry, rugosa, and barberry, but huge downed trees make the trails impassable.

You need to control how many dogs are allowed. Camping used to be fun, quiet, all your host do nothing about the annoying dogs barking, some all day. Music is playing loud. We come to camp, not coming to a dog convention.

Great Campground. Stayed in Hawthorn loop. Quiet, well kept, and good spacing between sites. Would definitely stay here again.
