The Outflow Recreation Area offers a peaceful and quiet camping experience, with friendly hosts and well-maintained campsites. Visitors appreciate the beautiful scenery and spacious tent sites, especially during week-long stays. However, some facilities, particularly the restrooms and showers, need significant improvements, and the access road has potholes that could be better maintained.

The camping experience was great. The campsite are cared for and the facilities are good. This is the third year going to the out flow camp sites and are planning to come back next year. However the road getting to the campsite has one section a little over 2 tenth of a mile that needs to be toped like the rest of the road. I do not know who is responsible (the Tionesta borrow, Tionesta township, or the campground) for that section of the road, they need to be informed about it condition. I hope you can inform the right people and get it toped.
Thank you for your consideration

Over the river and through the woods! It would probably be advised to check the directions before heading there. Don't trust the RV gps. I went over some pretty "puckering" roadways before arriving. I have a truck camper that literally drives worse than a tank and I have driven a tank. There were several other rigs there that were much larger than mine. They most likely came in from another direction. I decided to try it out and booked it at the last minute. Once I arrived, the campsite was easily accessible and I was immediately met by the camp host. I arrived rather late in the evening so I only took advantage of the utility hook-ups while I stayed over night. A light rain put me to sleep and the site was very quite. I woke up to bright sunshine and some maintenance (which started at a reasonable time of about 9am). Overall a very pleasant stay.
