Very Nice Campground, The campground hosts were very friendly. My family has been camping here since the campground opened. Tionesta campground is safe for the children to ride bikes, play and fish. The place is going to the Dog's literally way to many barking dog's the week we were there. People need to leave their bad mannered dog's at the kennel. I'm at a loss why people want to bring 2-3 dog's that don't behave and
disrupt other campers, I get thier part of the family thing however how about putting a shock collar on them for my family's thing called peace and quie at the campground thing . The Bathrooms haven't been updated since being constructed. Outside building are fine however the inside of the bathrooms are in great need of plumbing repairs ( guess this is what happens when you send Billions to Ukraine instead of spending it on our infrastructures. Overall Tionesta is a great place to spend some camping time.

We have been camping at Tionesta for 30 years. It is our favorite. Beautiful, spacious sites with full hook ups. Can’t get much better but we do wish they were open later into the fall like they used to be!

We like it here! The hosts are friendly, the firewood is reasonably priced, most sites are level.

If barking dogs is your idea of relaxing you have found your paradise. Seems the campground hosts & rangers have no interest in enforcing the rules. We reserved (and payed for) 7 days, left 2 days early, should have left on day 2 and went to Walmart parking lot. It would have been more relaxing. We have two well trained dogs & seen some others in the campground that were also. On the other hand there were many that were not. I would expect this out of a private “river rat” campground, not a Corp of Engineer park. Good news is we will never be back using a space if anyone needs it for their untrained constantly barking mutt.

The campground was clean and really nice. Plenty of shade in several sites. Theres a playground and areas to fish and swim. The showerhouses need updated and cleaned. The showers smelled and had mildew and was extremely dirty and falling apart. The flooring was cracked and chipping. Besides the showerhouse, the campground was great and we would definitely come back!
