We stayed at site #35 loop 3. We were not able to use the water hookup because the threads were stripped and obviously had been repaired before as they were plastic. Frustrating because we payed full hookup price. Lucky for us we were camping with friends and we had enough fresh water hose to reach their site and shared their water hookup. To be fair this may not have been reported until we arrived. I did tell the camp host on Thursday afternoon and 3 more times before we left and it still wasn't repaired Sunday when we left. The other complaint I have is the trees and tree limbs are not being maintained. Several areas are overgrown, dead trees, and treelimbs. It's obvious this type of maintenance hasn't been done in months if not years. Lastly I'd complain about barking dogs. I'm pretty sure this is a rule that is not enforced. Overall, we will be back one day as we've camped here on several occasions. Thank you for having a platform for comments.

This is a very peaceful campground. We stayed on weekends in June and July. For the most part, sites are spaced well. Most have a nice amount of privacy as there are trees separating. We hiked on the few very nice trails. The town is just over a mile away - we also walked there and checked out the shops. A little further walk was Bananas ice cream. Perfect destination for a walk on a hot day. One of our favorite campgrounds so will be back for sure.

Tionesta is always a great place to visit. The bathrooms were kept clean, which is a big plus. The new playground is beautiful. My grandkids loved it. They also love riding on the paved park roads. The camp minister is a wonderful woman and brings great encouragement to those camping. My grandkids enjoy craft time on Saturday. My oldest granddaughter had a great time fishing and caught a few fish. Tionesta is a fantastic place for families to enjoy time together, mostly unplugged, having time to bask in the beauty of God’s creation.
