I hadn’t been to Tionesta in over 20 years. It was great to be back. We stayed July 5th -7th. Took my grandson camping for the first time. The campsite was perfect. Close to the creek for fishing, looking for crayfish and throwing some rocks. Carol our host was very nice, greeted us when we got there and had a presence through out our trip to ensure all campers were safe and having a good time. Bathroom and shower facilities in loop 4 were great, very clean! Make sure you go see the lighthouse and the Statue of Liberty! Also when the firewood guy drives by you take inventory and get firewood if needed. He doesn’t come by everyday. We had a great time and will definitely return.

very nice campground. very clean restrooms. parking is a problem with vehicles parked on the grass, doing damage to sides of roads and to grassy areas. Parking regulations are not enforced.

I wish they would get the grass mowed at the sites.

The GRASS really need cut. they go a week or longer be for cutting it. Last year we stayed on site 116 because of the shade, so I reserved this site several times this year but now we wish we didn't because they cut down all the shade and left it a mess. Our camp host are very good this year. there has been time for family emergency with them, but they work together very well.
