we have been to Tionesta many times without problems or complaints, but this time was different. We were in site #5 and the condition of the site was terrible. There were dried leaves in and around the fire pit that needed cleaned out. Also the area around the fire pit was in much need of gravel. It rained for most of the weekend and the entire area was a muddy mess. This could have been avoided with a little maintenance. As this was the first weekend for the campground to be opened, this should have been taken care of prior to opening.

It is hard to rate our experience over Memorial Day weekend as it rained everyday and very cold. It would be really nice if the restrooms could be updated. Other than that we enjoy camping there!

We always have problems with the water bibs leaking, we changed hoses even to avoid the issue but it is not the hose....

Vehicles & parking
- Parking on the grass is not allowed.
- A maximum of two vehicles are allowed per campsite.
Safety & rules
- Alcoholic beverages are not allowed on site.
- Children under 13 must wear a personal flotation device on boats, and all boaters on smaller vessels must wear one too.
Site capacity
- Campsites allow either 1 wheeled camper and 1 tent, or 2 tents.
- Camping longer than 14 days at a water resource project requires written permission.
Accessibility
- Sites 69 and 71 are designated for accessible camping with required passes.

- Do not move firewood; buy it locally and burn it on site.
