Good spacing, level sites. Seems like all sites are full hookup.
Mostly shaded sites but a few with sun.
Several bathrooms, they are functional but older and showing their age.
Several sites along the river. Sites near the outflow have white noise.
Grounds are well kept. Friendly volunteers and staff.

Other than the rest room building showing their age, this is a very nice campground. There are many nice sites and they all have full hook-ups. The campground hosts are friendly and helpful. The walk into town to get ice cream at the gas station/general store is doable.

Tionesta is the place to make memories! All full hook up and pet-friendly sites, plenty of privacy on many of them. Shady and sunny, woods- and creek-backing. Three playgrounds in walking distance, paved roads for biking, tubing and wading in the creek, boating and swimming on the lake, and kayaking the Allegheny river; fishing, bike rides to town for ice cream and lighthouse island! Not enough? Cook Forest is a 30-min drive and Kinzua Dam within one hour. Verizon wireless service is weak to non-existent and AT&T is limited. Starlink worked like a charm that a difference in the last trip (for better or for worse )! In love with Tionesta at the first sight and keep coming back for over 20 years!
