I nice place to stay when you want access to multiple activities. Several bike trails in the area, which we used a lot. The river is close as well as the lake for water activities. Fishing, boating, kayaking, etc.

Love the quiet, restful, relaxing atmosphere. Love that all the sites have full hookup. Most, if not all, the sites are very nice. Some are next to the creek, some by the lake. This is definitely a place we will return to again and again.

the campground.

- Reservations are required before camping.
- Changes to campsite reservations must be made by calling Recreation.gov.
- Contact the Tionesta Lake office for inquiries.
- Contact the Tionesta Recreation Area for inquiries.
Vehicles & parking
- Parking on the grass is not allowed.
- A maximum of two vehicles are allowed per campsite.
Safety & rules
- Alcoholic beverages are not allowed on site.
- Children under 13 must wear a personal flotation device on boats, and all boaters on smaller vessels must wear one too.
Site capacity
- Campsites allow either 1 wheeled camper and 1 tent, or 2 tents.
- Camping longer than 14 days at a water resource project requires written permission.
Accessibility
- Sites 69 and 71 are designated for accessible camping with required passes.
Fires & fuel
- Do not move firewood; buy it locally and burn it on site.
