What Guests Are Saying
Bussey Point Campground offers a beautiful, relaxing location with clean, mostly level campsites and nice views, making it a popular choice for annual visitors. While some amenities are primitive, such as limited bathrooms and the absence of running water, many campers appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and helpful staff. However, noise from neighbors can be an issue, and improvements are needed for some facilities.

We love this camping area. Perfect area under the trees to shade from the sun. Spots right by the water are perfect and peaceful. We were able to put our pontoon in just around the corner and drive over to the campsites. So convenient! The area is very private if you have a large group and reserve sites 11-14. Being right on the water is my favorite thing about it. The trails are pretty decent and easy to ride on. Not rocky at all. Be careful of bees in the summer months bring something to keep ants away, we were all invaded. Nevertheless the weekend was awesome and we will definitely come back every year.

I like this campground. It is quiet and has great lake views. However, not everyone who uses the campground are horse people. It would be great if the horse dung could be cleaned up by the people who do come with horses. If not them, then user part of the collected fees to have someone else clean it up at least once a week. When I was there, the piles were huge. Not the best view of the lake looking over that. Watch your step! There was even a pile on my camp pad where tent should go.
