Great campground. Great views and wonderful trails. Clean, modern, well kept, flat paved sites. Camp host was a Karen! She told me that she had the discretion to deviate, implement, and/or interpret the rules as she saw fit with regards to 36 CFR.

Beautiful campground on the Intercoastal Waterway about an hour north of Charleston. Huge sites, but with only 14 RV sites, it needs more! Found it interesting that the 500 mile Palmetto Trail that criss-crosses SC ends here.

Like the pull thru sites to make it easy. We did not use the facilities so have no opinion to give to that area.

We had to leave due to the park closing because of the potential hurricane threat. We were supposed to be refunded and have not received the refund. We do love camping at Buck Hall and feel like since we were not given a choice, we should be refunded for our camping trip.

Still awaiting a refund since we were required to leave 3 days early due to weather (Tropical Storm Idalia)...given only 1 hour notice to pack up and leave... on TUESDAY... storm wasn't close on TUESDAY.

Trip was very good. Awesome views.
Only drawback was we were asked to leave a day early due to the approaching storm and we haven’t heard if we get a credit or refund for that missed night.
