Campground had great access to a boat ramp if you needed to launch your boat.
There wasn't a camp host while we were there which may be why the bathroom were so dirty, It didn't look like they had been cleaned in many weeks, The sink shelf was covered in bugs maybe 20 or so flies, moths, insects.

Be prepared, the mosquitos are terrible and we were there in late March. Additionally, it didn’t help that the grass had not been cut and was at least 6-10” on many sites. If you have a big rog be cautious of the drop off leaving the dump station. We were in site 7. Almost all site are very large. Hiking trail was nice but short if you want to stay in the campground area.

Such a great location on the ICW and the sites are good with w/e and a dump station on the way out. The host was no where to be seen the 2 days we were there. The only down side to the place was the bathrooms - terribly dirty. Didn’t appear to be cleaned or picked up while we were there .

This is a quiet, well maintained campground with ample space between sites, mostly for RVs and trailers. The CG is located along the Intracoastal Waterway, so the occasional boats passing provide some entertainment There are only 5 (walk in) tent sites. I never saw the camp host, but spoke with her over the phone. I did not observe any ranger drive throughs, but I spoke with Wildlife enforcement at a nearby historic site. They told me they frequently park in the boat ramp lot at night, so there is adequate security

The grass around the campgrounds needed to be mowed as it was at least a foot tall in most areas and gave the mosquitoes & no-see-ums a place to thrive. We never saw the camp host our entire visit. This could be a beautiful campgrounds if it was better maintained.
