We love this Buck Hall Rec campground as it is small and right along the intercoastal water way. Things to do include visiting the Hampton Plantation and the Red Wolf Reserve. Area restaurants SeeWee Restaurant, McClellenville Diner, TW Graham. Also the Carolina Seafood Market has excellent fresh seafood.

Quiet with beautiful views and sunsets. Clean bathrooms and showers. Enjoyed watching the birds (blue) out my windowThe Noseeums were horrific for a few days which is out of our control, but I had site 3 which had standing water the entire 2 weeks. Not from my water connection, they have an underground break in the water line.

This is a gorgeous CG with just a hand full of spots. You have water and electric. I highly recommend and will be back. Well maintained!

Tent camped at Buck Hall while hiking the Swamp Fox Passage of the Palmetto Trail. Beautiful campground right on the intracoastal waterway. Shower has nice warm water (not super hot but very pleasant}. Very quite, RV sites have electric hookups so no need to run generators. Definitely recommend!

It was a nice place to stay. Clean showers and facility...........all except for the red ant colony, at the dump station, that tore my feet up with multiple bites.

Nice quiet park, friendly camp hosts. Would definitely recommend. No firewood here, bring your own.

Adding some solar panels to the bath house could provide hot water as well as heat to the structure
This could be a state wide initiative

Great location if you like remote areas. Have a lot to do but it is a few miles to get to anything. We visited Mt Pleasant area and Boone Hall Plantation. The weather was very nice for Feb. but we had a lot of rain that was not the campgrounds fault. Showeres have hot water but not heat in building. Campground is small, only 14 RV sites but it has large sites and is very clean.

Very nice spacious sites. Close to Charleston for a day trip. Center for Birds of Prey is a must see nearby. Only down side is the restroom facilities are a little outdated and the cell (AT&T) is very slow. But for the price and location it is a great place.
