Wonderful campground and facilities! Hiked on the Palmetto Trail. Very well maintained trail! Our bad thought it was a 5 mile loop. It isn’t. Had cell service the entire time . Little stubborn about checking it out till 4 miles out then turned and went 4 miles back! Wonderful weather!

Only 14 rv sites, but it is a wonderful campground that is right on the inter coastal waterway. Peaceful, clean and very helpful hosts! We were fortunate to get in and we will return asap!

Nice spot to camp! Hard to get reservations. Only complaint was that the shower was only luke warm and it was in the 40s outside. Note there in only one shower stall in the bath house (mens). We'll be back if we can get reservations.

It was very rainy and cold, but with the cement pads instead of gravel and with the up keep of the facilities and very helpful hosts, it was a very good experience. Mount Pleasant and Charleston are close and I always enjoy both cities. I always attempt to locate CORE or Federal Forestry campgrounds as they are the best.
