Unfortunately, because of the extreme heat --too hot to walk, too hot to fish, and our pet was panting horribly so we left several hours after we arrived and returned home. However, we found the site pleasant and beautifully set up with water and electricity and was sorry to leave. I would recommend Buck Hall Recreation Campground to anyone in the months of fall, spring, and even our mild winters!

Great location. Nice campground. Good hosts. Bath house could use some updating but otherwise good. Enjoyed our stay and will return.

It was a great location on the intercoastal waterway. Small campsite, but had water and electricity.
Loved watching the birds across the waterway in the tall grass.

Spacious, level sites sites with views of the ICW in the distance. Campground was quiet despite being full when I visited. Campground is adjacent to a nice boat landing and has direct access to The Palmetto Trail.

The bathroom remained immaculate even with a 20 person youth group in the tent area. The campground hostess was very visible and approachable around the campground. Best experience in a long time.
