Campground was good for spending a night or two. Longer if you on fishing trip. Bath house needed some maintenance. Never saw camp hosts like other national park camps we have stayed at. It would be great if they went around occasionally greeting and checking on the guests. Not a lot to do here.

The view of the intercoastal was beautiful. I had good cell service. If you like fishing, this is a great spot. I stayed because it was close to Georgetown and Charleston, SC, and was one of the most affordable options.

Buck Hall is on the top of the list of our local campgrounds. Always great for a little getaway for some peace and quiet. Sites are spacious to give privacy and you can’t beat the view of the Intracoastal and beyond

Small kid friendly campground. Always interesting hosts/ships passing by. Small pier for fishing and crabbing with my grand boys. We visited the Bird’s of Prey exhibits and show. Educational and interesting to see the work they are involved at the grounds.

The only thing it lacks is sewer, and a bathhouse upgrade. The sites a wonderful!!!! This park is very heavily used mostly by locals - they know how good the park is. Loved watching the boat traffic. We would definitely stay here again.

Tent sites along ICW are large and provide excellent views. Palmetto Trail provides hiking and biking opportunities. Nearby ferry to Cape Romain is a great day trip.
