Bathroom facilities did not work. All toilets non-functional and out of service. Never saw the campground host. The grass was tall around the trees and there were lots of bugs and snakes. The entire campground is in disrepair. The wooden beams to keep people off the grass areas are all rotten. the entire campground needs a refresh. I go there for the convenience of the boat landing. It would be such a nice campground especially if sewer hook ups were added. There is an overflow area, but no one is allowed to use it. It's such a waste of land if we can't use the overflow as well.

The grounds were in horrible shape. Grass was high and looks like they never trim the grass around anything. The place is totally neglected.

Good localization along the coast, but maybe not the best campground for a tent, or to sleep in the car (you cannot park in your tent spot, it's a sharable parking). When we arrived, while I had the reservation on my phone, our spot wasn't marked as reserved. Bathrooms are really old and not very clean. Careful to the mosquitos if you come in summer, use bug spray before you leave the car otherwise they will get you right away (it's a humid area).

My first camping experience ever. My adult son has become a great lover of the outdoors. He has come to help me during these trying times. He was missing his Colorado wilderness adventures. I suggested he volunteer to do what he loves. He love fire prevention so he has been helping out on the Palmentto Trails. We both decided it was time to spend three days around the area and see how I like camping. Wish I had not waited until until 71 to find out how super wonderful it is. Buck Hall is lovely!

We stayed here only one night, but we thought the place was beautiful! Our only negative was due to mosquitoes. There were so many that even the strong breeze couldn’t keep them away. We do hope to stay here again…when it’s cold enough for the six legged vampires to be gone.

The host made the trip. As someone from out of town they were easy to talk to and offered up advice and insights only a local would have. The ramp was easy to use. The area was beautiful. I would stay there again.
