The landscape on the waterfront site have been extremely neglected. The pictures shown are what the camp sites looked like many years ago but unfortunately they have not been maintained very well and the park rangers stated it would never look great again due to budget cuts. The park has 3 dump locations but the gatekeepers keep one closed at All times. The restrooms need to be maintained much better. The restroom for sites 1-36 is horrible and needs to be updated.

Roads to the RV camping area were a bit narrow and turns were a bit tight for our 38' motorhome but certainly were navigatable. Lots had better privacy than the commercial sites. Beautiful lake and surroundings. We would definitely come back to this campground.

We are traveling from FL to VT and we stayed at three Corp Parks. We were very pleased with all three parks and found them to be exceptionally clean. We will be making reservations again in the future.

I was on site 20. This site said that it’ll hold a 34’ camper. That’s not true… yes it’s a pull thru site but with walls on the front and back of you you can only fit a 20’ camper and barely have enough room from your tow vehicle to unhook without hitting the wall in front of you. The site is ok but poorly designed. The bathrooms need a major update especially the mens. When you have only 1 stall for 30 sites and you have to wait to use the bathroom and hope to catch it when no one is in there then you have a problem. The floors are nasty and never no soap or paper towels. I have stayed at this campground several times but it just seems to be going downhill on the maintenance. The cell service for Att and Verizon you may have but 1 bar of service

When we pull up to the gate we were early about 1345 hrs. We knew that but have been able to check in early most of the time when we have visited, the camp sites. The gate, keeper, did not get her name, but siad well you are early , check is at 1500 hrs, and that the campers had not left yet. Siad in a non professional way, you have to go out of the park and park out side the gate. I asked could we park on the side in side the gate, as t here is plenty of room to do so. She again said in a non professional maner no get out side the gates and park, I went over on the side where there was a old dump station plentyof room, to park, was inside the gate. She came over and again in a way no one wants to be treated and said get out of the park now. Very degreading to any one. So i did, and there was no place to turn aound out side the gate other than traveling abut 2 miles to find a turn aound. But as i have been towing for over 50 years i managed to turn my trainler (30) ft there to save the 4 miles trip. After about 45 minutes or so another Gate keeper came over to were i was parked and said the campers were still on the site and a ranger was called. This was now around 1430 or so. At 1500 i walked up to the gate to see if we can now check in she said they had not cleared yet, I asked if i can check in and go down and wait, she was relunct to do that but did as i told her we wanted to talk to the ranger when he got there as this was not acceptable. She gave me my pass we got to the Site #9 and i t was empty, Know one had come to us and say it was now empty. But sure didnt want to l et us in or know anything other than 45 minutes after they campers should have left.
