Absolutely another beautiful USACE park and campground. I’m blessed to live In the southeast with so many choices of USACE campgrounds. Camping at most sites in this park are 25 steps from the water at anytime. You can’t go wrong with sites 42-43-44-45 as the bathhouse and swimming beach are within walking distance.
Front gate host…camp host…and private contract cleaning crews….are absolutely outstanding helpful and friendly with all questions for 1st time visitors as I was.
So if you want your own private lake front camping spot make a reservation for this park asap….you won’t be disappointed.

We had a wonderful stay at Coneross. Spacious campsites and plenty of shade. We had a little trouble with ants but that is to be expected. The staff was welcoming and available. We will be back!

This has always been our go to campground but we have been exploring other campgrounds. Due to the fact that the hosts are not exactly friendly and accommodating. The grills that were added are a nice addition. The couple that cleans the sites after departures are either a little to old to be doing it or choose to not do a very good job. The gentleman sits in the car while the woman does a sweep of the site. Don't get me wrong we enjoy Coneross but it needs to be taken care of a little better.

We stayed at site 79. Loved the large pull thru site but it sloops 4” downhill. The bathhouse is old and hot. Roads are in good condition, overall liked the park.

We were assigned site #19 and had no difficulty positioning our 40’ motor home into it, plus our full-size pickup that we tow. We are full-time RVer’s. The site was very clean and staff were very pleasant and helpful, especially when we needed to extend our stay unexpectedly. Can’t say enough good things about this park. As I do internet work from our MH, WiFi strength is important to us; I never had a problem connecting.

The sites here are quite large, and most of them shaded. We started out on Site #34, but were able to move to a waterfront site for our last 2 nights there! There are no "bad" sites there that I noticed. The park was very clean (although we didn't use the bathhouse facilities), and the couple that were working the front gate were extremely kind and helpful! This is now on our list of favorites, and we're looking forward to returning soon!

Clean, peaceful, most sites are right on water. We try to stay a week here each year.
