It's a nice place, but there is no enforcement of the rules (dogs off their leashes, speeding vehicles and trash left at sites). You see park attendants driving around but in their cars with the windows up. The humidity is unbearable here too.

Everything went well my only comment is they don't seem to be maintaining the grass as well as in the past. The grass by the lake wasn't cut at all and we worry about snakes, my wife was bit by one at the park a few years ago.

Really enjoyed the trip. The sites were large and it gave you a feeling of "your own space". The park workers were all very nice and helpful. We had a little trouble with leveling our small camper. We are not real experienced campers yet and we had to figure out the problem.

Under rush needs to be cut. Many dead limbs on the ground. Bath house full of worms on floor missing tiles. Hosts are rude especially Jay. Older couple nice but inept. But I still like coneross.overall.

I made my reservation on line using my America the beautiful card which gave me a 50 percent discount. Uppon arriving at the gate, the female ranger requested my America the beautiful card. She examined the card thoroughly. She then began a discussion about the card with the male ranger. I heard her say that “they change these cards all the time so, I don’t know. She then handed the card to the male ranger. He told her that he thinks it’s alright. All this made me feel very uncomfortable. It made me feel as if they felt that I didn’t belong there. I was scheduled for 4 nights. I only stayed 1 night. I will never step foot on this property again.
