Nice level sites, clean facilities, and friendly staff. Some sites have a view of the Missouri River. There are a number of buddy sites where campers are backend to backend so be careful if this doesn’t appeal. .Some nice tent sites away from the water. Great place to come if you have a boat and want to fish.

We found out only by word-of-mouth that we were there on a fishing free weekend when people did not have to buy a license. It would have been nice to have been notified beforehand. Also I had read about tours of the dam, but there was nothing published or posted about tours.
All in all, it was a very good experience. The campground was clean and the views were spectacular.

It was a very good experience. I would have given 5 stars of not for the guy who couldn't take the cold and went to their vehicle and hit the panic button. Also, the dam whistle early on a morning I can sleep in. I was surprised how much traffic there was. The campground host were 11/10. Great customer service! Will definitely stay again.

Stayed at the camping location I like the best. The grass had been recently mowed and everything was very clean.

You did not open reservations at Time stated. The open spots had no shelters.
