Beautiful park with large, level sites, cement picnic tables and fire rings with grates. There are paved walking trails along the Missouri River below the dam and around several marshy ponds. Abundant bird species and signs of other wildlife were present. This is a very quiet, clean and well-kept campground.

Everyone is so friendly and helpful. It is outstandingly clean and well kept up. The hosts are always driving around keeping up on the comings and goings. People from all over stay there and when you have a Senior Pass it is so inexpensive. There is also plenty of room between campers instead of on top of each other like most parks are!

The campground is right next to the Big Bend Dam. We stayed overnight during a cross country trip. The Dam, road and associated power grid can be heard from the campground which could be an issue for light sleepers. It also is used by their local community as a park during the day, The night we were there a group of people came to the park to drink and party at 2:30 AM which fortunately didn’t last long, but a reminder how close the campground is to town. The campground was clean, hosts were helpful, is popular with fishermen with a cleaning station, water access and attracts numerous birds including Osprey, Pelicans, and other shorebirds which birders will enjoy.

There week of Sep 11/21. Nice park. Very clean. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Hard to beat COE parks. This one is located good ways out so make sure you have everything. Scenery is very pretty with the Missouri River.

Nice big sites--very clean and quiet. Always seem to meet interesting people there and the campground attendants are very polite and helpful. It is probably our favorite spot to get away for a few days. We do wish there was more accessible shore fishing as all the riff raff around the river is not possible for us older folks to navigate and the handicapped dock is usually full.

Lovely sites, some with shade. Great camp hosts, excellent area to walk and bike around. The closest grocery store is expensive down the street on the Reservation but a scenic 20 mile trip down river will bring you to a town with a real grocery store!

Very clean and well laid out campsite, especially for fishermen. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Lower loop sites are closer to fish cleaning area and may smell when wind is from the west.

It was a nice set up with not only a table but a bowed wind break/privacy screen behind it. The campground was surrounded with water and it was pretty special. It would really be great for boating. Oh, one other surprise was they gave us a bag with fun boating items like a floating key chain.
