If you are there for a relaxing time and want to actually sleep, this is NOT the place to go. Music playing all night, drunk people running around, cars and trucks doing burn outs in the parking lot at 430 in the morning. And a fog horn starts blowing at 752 am and does every hour all morning. And even though you are on the water... there is no swimming.

Enjoyed the park immensely. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The Missouri River is so beautiful in this part of the country. Would stay there again !

A stunning location on the Missouri River. The campground has nice shade trees and beautiful views. The campsites are small based on typical Army Corps parks, but level and beautiful, nonetheless. The required hairpin turn to get onto the entry road is a little tricky, but the view from the dam is spectacular! Hosts were welcoming and around.

We were only there for two nights but we thought the park was great. The only thing that kept this from being a five star review is I thought the bathrooms were pretty dirty… Looked like they had not had a thorough cleaning in a while. Because of that, we did not use them.

What a great find! This campground is great. Easy pull thru site. Clean restrooms. Right on the Missouri river. Such a treat at a great cost. Army Corp of Engineer Campgrounds are the best!

Everything was good except for fire pit. We stay 6 days, it was never cleaned. Had food, plastic bottle, etc all partially burnt when we arrived on Tuesday & still dirty on Monday.
