What a great find! We showed up after dark and I'm a little challenged in backing my rig, so Dan helped us in.My hubby and I are primarily boondockers (no hookups of any kind). We don't like to pay the price for the extra amenities that we simply don't need. This campground was perfect for us, so we stayed for more than 2 weeks. Megan and Dan, the owners checked on us daily to offer us fresh water which they readily delivered along with some great info on things to do in the area. They even provided maps! The sunrises and sunsets are fantastic and there is a great paved bike trail from the campground to town where I walked daily to buy groceries or to simply take in all that this cute little town of Custer had to offer. It's all only a half mile away! Thank you for such a wonderful stay. We'll be back for sure.

We are new to the RV life & absolutely loved our time here! The location in relation to the things we wanted to do was perfect. It was about 20-30 to Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and Wind Cave. Al, the owner was outstanding. He was friendly & helpful in giving us some great pointers for backing up into our next spot.

These folks are super nice. I was at the end of my day and tired. Nice place for tents . Bikers are welcome.
I differently would stay here again
It one year later and I'm back again. These people have a nice clean and quiet campground. I'm glad to stay here again.
They have good water pressure for campers. I'm on a bike but the water is cold and has a good flavor. Nice clean outhouse that are close by. I'll be back again soon! AAA+++

Great little no frills place. Level gravel spots. Great location for Custer State Park. 1mile from town. This campground is still in the growing stages. The owners Dan and Megan are great. Just the type friendly folks you would expect to find in small towns. We rode our motorcycles in and out everyday and had no issues. Stop in and help them grow.

Great location, no frills but it’s a young park. Friendly Owners who actually care about your stay . Clean, easy back in sites, level , NOT PAVED… this is a quaint small park with great potential. If I Ever get back to see the sights that are so close , it’s a no brainer…
