Beautiful shaded and reasonably private camping spot. Close to the Horsethief Lake which is very nice. Clean vault toilets.

Loved this campground! So very nice and so close to all the things in Hill City! The grandkids really like being able to fish so close by.

The view from this site is gorgeous. The walking path around the lake starts right next to where you park at the site. The actual place to set up your tent is down a little hill right next to the lake. Good place to set up your hammock. Lots of good trails next to the site as well. Horsetheif lake trail is an excellent one.
Bathrooms/trash are close by.

Nice campground. Clean. Lights in bathroom don't work, multiple people with campfires burning at night even though burn ban in effect. .
