Larsson's Crooked Creek Resort

Larsson Creek RV Resort exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. The check-in experience was such a thoughtful touch, especially for families. They took the time to share local recommendations, kid-friendly attractions, and tips for exploring the area, which made planning our trip so much easier.

The campground itself is beautiful, clean, and incredibly well-maintained. One thing we really appreciated was the abundance of shade throughout the resort. It made relaxing outside much more enjoyable, especially during the warmer parts of the day. The pool was another favorite for our family and gave the kids a fun way to unwind after a day of sightseeing.

The location is perfect for visiting Hill City, Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, and the many attractions throughout the Black Hills. It's close to everything while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. The combination of friendly staff, great amenities, and attention to detail made this one of the best RV resorts we've stayed at. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area, especially families with kids!

This is a top-quality RV resort. The grounds are in excellent condition with lots of trees and grass, and it's very conveniently located near all of the Black Hills attractions. The bathrooms and showers are clean, and they will deliver things to you and even empty out your tanks in the morning. The staff was helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

Hands-down, the best resort we stayed at. The people in the customer service is top-of-the-line, the location in the beauty of the campground in the maintenance is superior. The staff are all extremely friendly and very accommodating. If you have a campsite without a Dump station, they will come and pump it for you so you don’t have to move your RV. They will pick up your trash for you, and deliver anything that you may need from their general store. A big thank you for three day stay here.

My husband and I spent a week at Larson's Creekside Campground in May 2026. If I could rate it a ten I would. We drove all the way from Eastern Tennessee and we wanted a special spot and we found it. We stayed in one of creekside spots and it was wonderful. We have stayed in lots of campgrounds over the past twelve years, but this one was special. It was well maintained, beautiful and the staff and owner was friendly/helpful. If you are looking for great campground to stay in the area you should stay here.

I love the area too, everyone we met was so nice. We are from a tourist area, the High Country of NC, and I was surprised by how pleasant everyone was. I would love to visit both the area and campground in the future.

Close to ALL the things. Hiking, Sylvan Lake, Rushmore, Crazy Horse… I could keep listing. Campsite staff is wonderful, Eric, wonderful, everything, just wonderful. Bathrooms spacious, and clean. One step away from Mickelson trail. Beautiful campsite views and the staff really seem to care about the general upkeep. Wonderful spot to land while in Hill City, SD.
