What Guests Are Saying
Pactola Reservoir Campground offers beautiful, clean campsites with spacious pads suitable for larger RVs and tents, and close proximity to the scenic Pactola Lake. Camp hosts are friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall experience, while the campground provides excellent access to outdoor activities like fishing, swimming, and kayaking. Some minor downsides include uneven site entrances and occasional noise from generators, but the serene environment and stunning views make it a popular choice for campers.

The reservoir is beautiful and the park and sites took full advantage of the view. The ability to rent pontoons and other boats near the park is a huge plus. Also VERY good fried chicken dinner available at the rental store.
One piece of advice: make sure to bring the water you're going to need, don't plan to use the park water. The water available was surprisingly cloudy and full of floaties. Despite this we would still come back and camp again.

This campground was beautiful, quiet, and secluded. The marina just down the road is a great place to stop and get food or other necessities!

The campground was nice, but loud and crowded. Several dogs off leash and 3-4 cars in several sites. It seemed like the camp hosts were just there to sell firewood and not enforce rules.

Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Camp site was great, and running water in the bathroom was a pleasant surprise!

During the week, the campground was amazing. Clean, quiet, remote, peaceful. The kids liked it, loved walking the trails, and throwing rocks into the lake.
Weekends are not quiet at all. Every site filled, and lax enforcement of rules.

It is a very beautiful campground. We weren’t very happy with how we had to park our camper, was a very odd site, but it was our first time there and we got the chance to walk around and look at all the other sites for next time. We will definitely be back! Love Pactola! Was hoping for no cell service and some peace and quiet but there is full cell service! Hahaha so if you could find a way to block that it would be even better!!
