Pretty location, although close to hunting, so gun shots could be heard throughout the day. The sites were very spacious, but reservation tags were not updated and did not reflect occupancy.

Fantastic and amazing! Surrounded by Ponderosa Pines, well maintained, peaceful and quiet. Some ATV and motorcycle traffic but didn't bother us

Nice campground a little way off the main road, so you don't hear the road noise. Friendly staff, lots of trails, nice lake and it cools down at night.

Love the campground we’ve stayed there a few times but the toilets were less than desirable this time. There was only one host so I’m sure it was a lot for him to tend to alone but more attention was needed for all outhouses

We have been camping at Roubaix lake for the past 5 years now. Always had a great experience just wish the fishing was a little better. Camp sites and bathrooms are always clean. Love this spot!

It’s a very nice campground, has a lot of sentimental value to my wife and I. However we had family staying there in loop A, the spot next to us in loop D was available and unreserved, but for whatever reason they were not allowed to move campsites. Just made absolutely no sense. Couldn’t understand why the campground couldn’t be more accommodating. Aside from that it was a nice stay.

There are water spickets throughout the camp.

Located on the north side of Roubaix Lake. From Rapid City, South Dakota, take Highway 385 north, then take Forest Road 255 to the campground.

Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
Site types & loops
- Generators are allowed from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. at non-electric campsites.
Fees & deposits
- A fee of $2 per pet per night is charged at check-in.
- Senior and Access discounts apply only to the site of the card holder; additional fees may apply for other sites reserved on the same card.
