Come there twice a summer for a week at a time for several years. Large sites with excellent staff. Think this is one of the best campgrounds in the whole system.

As far as campsites that we have been to this was definitely our favorite! It was spacious between sites, clean, friendly, and situated on a beautiful parcel of land.

I camp with family members every September at Sheridan Lake in the Black Hills, SD. The campground is tidy and well managed and I always enjoy my time there. It would be lovely if the parks service could see their way to install showers throughout the grounds.

Reserving a campsite is easy. The camp host was very nice and knowledgeable. My site was clean and level. The park was quiet and the sites had plenty of room between them. I had my dog with me and we had plenty of paved roads to walk on.

A very lovely place to be. A Site with sea-view. We had a stay at the end of the season. We had a rented 30 feet RV. We enjoyed the silence an pure nature. A good stay if you visit the NP.
The only negative: only minimum mobile network an no wifi
The staff at the reception was very friendly an helpful.
