Well kept campground. Only downside is that one group was loud late into the night.

This campground is an awesome central place to spend time exploring the Black Hills area. Other campers and the employees were courteous and friendly. Definitely would return.

HORRIBLE road to get there and then no hook ups. We got water from the bathroom spigot but no electric hookup. We were allowed to use the generator but had to shut it off at 10 pm.

My visit during a heat wave, 100 degrees and no shade. Lake but really no swimming. Nice secluded area.

Clean camp site, friendly camp host, quiet and peaceful and small area. Enjoyed one night with beautiful weather. Would definitely visit again. I would say the only downside is the sites are super close together.

We loved our time here. There are lots of birds, it is quiet, great solar, amazing views, good Starlink coverage, and a precious camp host. She will warn you if you are tenting and a severe storm is coming.

The downsides - it seems overpriced for no dump, no potable water, and no trash service. You can get water and use a free dump (donations accepted) in Hot Springs near the library. If you are picky about the taste of your water, it doesn't taste that great. Keep in mind there is a 6% grade you will have to climb (it isn't as steep a decent) to head to camp. We have a 50 gallon bladder we haul in our tow vehicle and transfer water with a DC pump to our rig.

This is a definite return to camp ground in spite of the negatives.
