Rapid City RV Park & Campground

We had a good stay. Our TV did not work due to a missing power cord and they were not able to fix the issue ( they did refund us a portion of the cost for the TV). Our picnic table, front step and cabin floor were all in poor condition. The bathroom facilities was always clean, didn't have hot water for 4 of the 5 days that we were there. There was no place to sit or clothes hook to hang / set your stuff on except the sink counter or the floor. Staff was always pleasant/courteous. The location was ideal for our stay. There was not much parking room for a large pickup.

The spots are very tight for motorhomes/trailers larger than 28 ft with slides. Very narrow. Plus the roads are pretty rough. The views though are spectacular and the common “lounge” area overlooking the city is a little gem. The prices are super reasonable and the staff are incredibly friendly.

I was camping in a tent from Sept. 25-29 and I had a fabulous stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the bathrooms and showers were clean and convenient to access from where I was tenting. The view from my campsite overlooking the valley was stunning and I even got to see some deer in the area. Here's the view from my campsite. The location of the park was in a perfect spot to be able to easily get to the Black Hills, Mount Rushmore, and other tourist attractions. I highly recommend staying here.

Great location but although they say they they have fee wifi, thier WiFi has little to no service. I 3 day stay I then added 2 extra days to my stay . The charge for the 2 extra days. I was charged more per night . The owner said because June carried a different rats but being I was already there , he would take care of refunding the difference before I left Friday. Well he seen me twice before I left but never spoke and never made it right / then they advertise they have a pool only to arrive and the pool isn’t opened yet . A pull through spot w/electric & water is only worth maybe $50 bucks a day . Let’s just say I WIONT BE RETURNING THERE

Best campground I’ve ever stayed at!!! I’ve been through Nevada and Utah and then landed in South Dakota. Stayed at campgrounds at each and this one is by far the best. Friendly staff, clean areas that are well maintained even for campers with just tents. Tons of amenities, like laundry, arcade, a mini store with ice cream on hot days. I was treated with a smile every time I met someone who worked here. It’s a nice relief after hiking and camping everywhere to have people genuinely enjoy seeing you. The guests have all been courteous. It’s also a short drive or hike (less than 2 mi) into town. I can’t recommend this place enough. Bring your kids or dog with your camper and you won’t be disappointed!!!
