Staff and location wonderful. Toilets and sinks were clean but the rest of the bathroom and showers were gross. Signs for no smoking on the doors but the seasonals apparently don't count. Sites are ok. Some share a covered patio which is great if you're camping with friends but not great if you're not.

Well, I should have read the reviews before booking. We stayed in one of the cabins, and while the cabin was okay, the rest of the environment surrounding it was definitely not. The young lady that checked us in was very nice and quite friendly, but that was the only interaction we had with the staff. The cabins are “rustic”, which was fine, we were looking to simply avoid the hassle of a tent, and it served that purpose. The bathroom facilities are absolutely atrocious. Both toilets in the ladies room were covered in diarrhea, and only one of the toilets in the men’s room would flush. There was no toilet paper or paper towels in either bathroom, and it looked like they hadn’t been serviced since before Sturgis Rally which was two months ago. There was also a pair of hills-have-eyes people apparently living in one of the cabins. It seems the management puts all their effort into maintaining the RV park, and the motel and cabins are left to someday be the set of Texas Chainsaw Massacre Part 12.

I have stayed at this RV park, hotel, and cabins many times. I recently had to cancel my stay in the RV park for 3 nights and Cabin No. 1 for 4 nights. The reservations weren't until September 25th, 2025. They canceled the RV site but I haven't received any refund. I canceled the cabin rental the same phone call and they have not canceled my reservation. I have contacted them by email at least 5 times and they don't respond. My credit card company has no record of them canceling my reservations. BEWARE IF YOU EVER HAVE TO CANCEL. I will never stay there again. There are much better choices that actually care about their customers. Not this business.

Our stay was great 19-21st of July we had space shade the staff was kind and very pleasant to work with! The bathrooms and showers may be a little outdated but hey we’re camping I’m glad it was more than a porta potty like what I would have gotten growing up in the 90s and early 2000s I would stay there again for sure! What a breath of fresh air and the views around were amazing close to lots of area attractions. We wanna give thanks for accommodating our family last minute and for the extra day we added on!

I booked a cabin because I had my dogs with me. There are 3 bunk buds. One bunk with twin on top and bottom. Two queens with twin bunks on top. There was an old box TV and a small window fan. You have to provide your own bedding. There are only mattresses and no pillows. Two electrical outlet in the front room and two in the back.
The room clearly wasn't cleaned before we arrived. The trash was full with dirty socks and drink containers. You can clearly see weeks of dust on the TV. I had this reservation booked for 6 months so it's not like it was a surprise arrival. The 1st night I only slept TWO hours because the queen mattress was so thin and I could feel the plywood beneath the mattress no matter how I turned. You can see that there is maybe half an inch of foam once you add pressure. I finally pulled two mattresses off and doubled them up to sleep on the floor. Moths were flying all over because of the holes in the window screens and large gap at the door. Dead bugs were under the beds. My whole body hurt after the one night. I was exhausted and in pain all day, crying from exhaustion while caring for my dogs and kids. The 2nd night I doubled up again and was able to get a whole 6 hours of sleep. I checked out early and didn't stay the 3rd night I paid for because I needed sleep and it wasn't going to be possible so we stayed somewhere else. When I checked out I complained but the person at the desk just said "Ok". The walk to the showers was not close and dark. I didn't feel safe walking to it after dark. Toilets were closer with sinks and the lighting wasn't bad from the street. The cabin next door had a family living in it long term (they had a fridge on the porch and an AC in the window) and another family member living in a tent behind. They had dirty pots and pans lying all over their picnic table, a wagon with dirty pots and pans and more stuff in the fire ring that appeared to be the one for my cabin. We didn't need the fire ring but we were the only other guests at the cabins.
Family members had issues with their motel rooms also including leaking AC conditioners that soaked the carpet and their belongings.
The pool gates were difficult to secure at times and didn't safely keep out little kids from the playground next door.
The queen "mattresses" (old, thin foam covered in plastic) need to be replaced as well as the screens. The rooms should be cleaned before guests arrive. Long term residents should be expected to keep their area clean and not spill over their personal items to other cabins. There is room for a small fridge but not one in the room which would have been nice. I used family member fridges in motel to keep the toddler milk cold. The white curtains were also not very sufficient and there is bright morning light.
I do not recommend this place.
