Rapid City RV Park and Campground

Great little RV Park. The office staff is excellent, polite and friendly. The park itself is very well maintained. Bath house, laundry room very well maintained too. Looks like they've been upgrading the park recently as everything is in tip top shape. My stay has been nothing short of excellent. Oh... location is great to Rapid City and the surrounding attractions of the Black Hills. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location but although they say they they have fee wifi, thier WiFi has little to no service. I 3 day stay I then added 2 extra days to my stay . The charge for the 2 extra days. I was charged more per night . The owner said because June carried a different rats but being I was already there , he would take care of refunding the difference before I left Friday. Well he seen me twice before I left but never spoke and never made it right / then they advertise they have a pool only to arrive and the pool isn’t opened yet . A pull through spot w/electric & water is only worth maybe $50 bucks a day . Let’s just say I WIONT BE RETURNING THERE

Best campground I’ve ever stayed at!!! I’ve been through Nevada and Utah and then landed in South Dakota. Stayed at campgrounds at each and this one is by far the best. Friendly staff, clean areas that are well maintained even for campers with just tents. Tons of amenities, like laundry, arcade, a mini store with ice cream on hot days. I was treated with a smile every time I met someone who worked here. It’s a nice relief after hiking and camping everywhere to have people genuinely enjoy seeing you. The guests have all been courteous. It’s also a short drive or hike (less than 2 miles) into town. I can’t recommend this place enough. Bring your kids or dog with your camper and you won’t be disappointed!!!

My son wanted a “ camping” experience. I’m not sure he was ready for a true tent camping experience. I was lucky to find this online and went to book a small cabin. Unfortunately, it was taken. Then!! The hotel room was offered! I saw it and booked it ASAP! It has its own bathroom AND shower! OMGosh!! When we arrived I was absolutely impressed! The young lady that greeted us was helpful and genuinely in tune with everything and answered all our questions. Even took the time to get directions to a place I inquired about. The room was absolutely perfect! It wasn’t just a hotel room. It had character and was thought through for an experience!! LOVE! I used the laundry facilities. Had a change machine and the machines are better than I have a home. I met a young man doing laundry and asked what he thought. ( I could tell he was definitely a traveler and knew the ins and outs. He said this has been the nicest grounds he has ever been to! From the amenity’s to just the clear attention to even the small details. I was extremely impressed! I also have to say I appreciate that everything is not perfect , it’s the honesty that this place is! It is definitely going to be a HOTSPOT and one that will be talked about amongst RV, campers, and novice “. Campers” like us! Thank you , for that experience! We loved it!’

We had a great experience staying here. We got in past 9pm, but the after hours check-in process was easy as just grabbing a piece of paper with our name on it. I had emailed and called ahead in the prior days talking about how we were hauling a small U-Haul trailer behind our car. Because the night we were staying was relatively empty, the staff was able to block off the campsite next to the cabin we stayed in, so that we could park our trailer and car right next to us, which was so convenient for us. They were very thoughtful and did this all on their own!
The AC unit in the cabin worked well and the shower/bathrooms were very clean.
Great experience staying here, such great service from the staff, and great access to Mount Rushmore.
