We love Lily Dale. Our site had such a beautiful view of the lake. The bathhouses were so clean - I never hesitated to use them. Camp hosts are great. One thing though - you need to bring whatever you need because the closest place for anything is in Livingston and it’s 30-35 minutes away. No Walmart but there is a DG Market and Food Lion.

First off the campgrounds are beautiful and the views of the lake is absolutely fantastic, but the camp host are rude and harassing people, we arrived at the campground and was setting up our pop up camper and we wasn’t there 15 mins when the camp host came around and immediately started fussing about our 3 little dogs who have training collars on and they never barked or anything at her, she fussed cause they wasn’t leashed mind u there were no dogs in nearby campsites leashed ! We let that slide and finished setting up and about a hour later I was in the camper with the dogs and my husband was sitting outside drinking a Pepsi, when the camp host came by again and brought us our tags for our truck as he walked up to my husband he was inspecting what he was drinking thinking he was drinking beer( we don’t drink) he gave my husband the tag and a map then as he was walking back to his golf cart he goes to our truck and raised up our tarp that was covering chairs and stuff we didn’t want to get wet cause it was raining ! Saw our wood and kiln dried wood and stated we couldn’t have it and demanded we take it away and dump it not sure what the difference is if we burn it or dump it, threaten to have the ranger kick us out! We knew they both would continue to harass us all weekend so we decided to pack up and go home. After reading reviews I seen this is been done to others also. We will not be back until the host are no longer there. We have camped at obey river and Kendall and never ever been treated so badly. I guess since we had a pop up and not a fancy camper we aren’t welcome!

Lily Dale is one of the finest camp grounds I’ve had the pleasure of staying at. Grounds and restrooms are always clean and well kept. If you stay here it is an absolute must to eat at the small restaurant at the top of the hill called the Fork!!

A really nice campground and the camp host and volunteers are really nice . The trip down the directions was not very good from where we came from. But after you finally understand them it is a lot better. But our stay at Lillydale was great and would go back again

The camp hosts were very friendly and nice! The lake is so beautiful and we loved our spot! This campsite is clean and lovely. It's quite a twisty road to get there, so you will need to be careful on the drive there, but it's worth it! Such a lovely campsite and lake!
