Nicest campground on Dale Hollow Lake plus, the attendants are the best. If I had one complaint, it is that they close the campground down too early — the day after Labor Day. Many would return to the campground well into mid to late October. Especially those of us who are retired. No reason not to keep sites 1-16 open until the 1st of November at a minimum.

The best campground experience we have had! Wonderful staff and super clean campsites. The restroom/shower facilities were top notch! Cannot say enough good things about this place!!

This is a gorgeous campground. Well kept. A winding twisting road to get there but so worth it. Sites in the 20- 30's are closer together than we like and less trees, a little view of the lake. But we had a campsite by the lake where people tied up their boats. The courtesy of not walking thru others campsites is not really "known", shared, or posted. The additional price you pay when you pay extra to be on the lake. We walked a mile into the trail-we aren't big trailblazers to know much, so really had to look around for signs to stay on the trail. So just a heads up! Would we go back-oh yes--one of my favorites now!

Staff was incredibly friendly, our site where clean and level - we just pulled in and unhooked - no leveling boards! Amazing! There were plenty of convenient bathhouses that were clean with lots of lovely, hot water and roomy shower/changing areas with plenty of hooks and a seat. My only observation was that in the actual shower stall there was no ledge or shelf to place shampoo and soap.
Overall - a perfect place to camp and be near the water!

The trees in the site need trimmed badly. You can’t get your camper in without running through them and them sitting on top once setup.

Great place to take a boat but the campsite boat ramp needs serviced at the top of the ramp. It has a large hump and some trailers scrape. Plus the boat parking is very small and does not accommodate a boat over larger than 22’ very well. The Willow Gove Marina is close enough to walk and they serve food and have a general store which makes it nice.
