Willow grove is a nice campground with big lots on Dale Hollow lake. The lake is very clean and clear. The campground is very hilly and if you are elderly it is a task walking up and down hill to reach the lake. Beach area was ok. The bathrooms left something to be desired. Only 2 showers and doors had no locks on them. The floor was swampy. We looked at Lillydale right down the road and liked it better. Flatter and closer to water however people were packed in like sardines on the one side where as willow dale had nice big sights. Its a toss up. Dont expect any phone service or even local tv channels. Bring lots of DVDs and card games for at night. There is not much around there but Boars head was a great place to get a submarine sandwich, ice cream and breakfast. reasonable prices.

Staff was awesome!! During our stay we experienced a few “bumps In the road” and the staff at the campground went above and beyond to try to help us work through the issues we were dealing with. Despite the unexpected issues we still had a great time. Campground was clean, well taken care of and the views were unbelievable. We will return and hopefully we leave all of the troubles behind!

It’s a ABSOLUTELY beautiful lake! The campground is well maintained and the marina has just about anything you could or would need! Including live bands at certain times. And it is MUST to go up the road and eat at The Fork restaurant! It has become a 1 of my favorite places and the owners are Tremendous people! Really don’t want people to know about this place so that I could just keep it to myself!

I’ve been camping at Willow Grove for multiple years, with multiple families, enjoying water and just relaxing. I fully intend to spend a week in August this year enjoying the company of family and friends.
