What Guests Are Saying
Lock A campground is well-maintained and offers beautiful river views, spacious sites, and friendly hosts, making it an enjoyable place for camping. Visitors appreciated the cleanliness of the facilities, good connectivity, and access to water activities like kayaking. While the narrow and steep road to the campground and some dated bathroom facilities were mentioned as drawbacks, overall experiences were positive, with many guests eager to return.

Campground was beautiful and the staff there was very helpful. We had no problems pulling our camper into the spot. The campers there all were very nice. We will continue to camp there.

Lock A is our favorite campground in Middle Tennessee. The grounds are maintained nicely, the majority of the sites are well-shaded and all are level. Ms. Cheryl, the camp host, is a very friendly and helpful lady.
My only criticism is that the hand air-dryers in the women's bathhouse are very outdated and do not work very well.

We love this campground! The campsites are all concrete and very large. The views and activities on the lake are enjoyable to watch from the campground. There is swimming at the public beach, bike riding and walking along the Bicentennial Trail connected to the campground. We didn't use the bathhouse, but I think that they are clean and sufficient. Would love to see the campground upgrade to offer a solid Wi-Fi solution. I noticed that Cumberland Connect has fiber on the pole adjacent to the check-in house. It would be pretty easy to distribute a good Wi-Fi signal throughout this fairly small campground. Would make it even more attractive for those that camp but need to stay connected to work or use it for entertainment.

Site was clean, hosts are very friendly, facilities also clean. Power was good despite being nearly full in record heat with ACs running nonstop.

Great place to camp! Always so much family fun and the kids love it. It was a bummer that only 1 shower worked in the women's bathroom which caused quite a wait.
