Never found the location of site. Found the day-use area but not for camping. Frustration occurred and no one could help or knew of the site area. I found a last minute camp site at Lock A campground and it was great. I have used rec.gov and always had good experiences with clean and well run campgrounds. Unfortunately this trip was not, but $25 donation will go to good use I am sure.

Someone else already had a birthday party set-up and were in the middle of it. The other shelter was open, so we just used it. My reservation receipt says that it is for the night and begins at 7:00. Does the sign you post on the shelter-house also say that?

I really loved the site. Beautiful and very nice! We were having my son's celebration of life there. I'm giving it 3 stars due to the information below. My only complaint is that there is no one to call for those that decide to bring their speaker and electric guitar and pretend they are in their living room blaring extremely loud music while others are trying to celebrate their loved one, fish or just relax in what's supposed to be a nature environment. This was our experience as a guy parked right next to us and proceeded to be a total nuisance. There should be a number that someone in charge answers that can dispatch someone to tell them that if they want to blare their music while playing their electric guitar, then go to Nashville and set up shop on the street. Everyone else that was around him started moving away taking their fishing gear so they also could enjoy nature away from his noise. We packed up earlier than we intended to and just left. We couldn't hear ourselves talk without having to speak loudly so the memories of my son that we were sharing with people over the phones was shortened tremendously due to this one rude inconsiderate person.

Right Bank Recreation Area is located approximately 11 miles northwest of Ashland City, Tenn. To reach the area, take Cheatham Dam Road off State Route 12 in the Cheap Hill Community. Right Bank Recreation Area is on the right bank of the lake, just upstream from Cheatham Lock and Dam.

Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
